With so much emphasis on health literacy in today’s world, the question arises: Who actually teaches us what it is, how to become efficient in it, or how to use it? The Sick Sense Squadrons Program bridges this gap, introducing health literacy in an age-appropriate, non-fearful way. Through gentle, engaging activities, children learn how to understand their health, make informed decisions, and build confidence—all without worry or stress.
Aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and NQF, this program teaches essential lessons in health literacy, hygiene, and listening to their bodies when feeling unwell. Through captivating storytelling and interactive activities, children are empowered to navigate real-life situations, like visiting a doctor or hospital, with ease and understanding.

By the end of the program, children will proudly become members of the Squadrons, ready to use their new skills to support their own well-being and inspire others.
